Kicked Out
Every day there are more news reports of alienated, violent youth. Who are these kids, and where do they come from? This biting, fluent novel demonstrates what happens to a young man who finds himself on the wrong side of too many conventions and laws in present-day England: he finds himself "intentionally homeless", to use the phrase applied against him by the authorities. How does he survive? What is life like for today's homeless generation?
The author runs creative writing workshops in maximum-security prisons in the UK. He lives in NE England.
