The Divine Conjuror
A mysterious machine with an evil history is found inside a tenth century castle in the present-day Champagne region of France. Count Divange discovers that it is the mythical talking head of Silvestre the Second, the Pope of the year 1000, who was also know as the pope magician. According to legend, he made it using the remotest secrets of ancient popular wisdom, and probably, with the help of the devil.
The sudden disappearance of the count causes his daughter and a detective to be involved in a spiral of dangerous events, which takes them all over Europe, where they discover that there are a lot of people interested in gaining access to the most terrifying secrets.
The Divine Conjuror is an action-packed novel riddled with mystery. It is a thriller from a present day viewpoint, which introduces the reader to an unknown and enthralling era.
